Casino Holdem Poker Rules
 |
Casino Hold’em Poker is a variation of the popular Texas Holdem poker game. Casino Hold’em Poker differs from Texas Hold’em in that it is played against the house rather than against other players.
The aim of the game is to beat the Dealer’s hand by getting the best possible five-card hand out of the two cards you are dealt and five community cards. To increase the excitement, you can also place a side bet that pays out if a pair of Aces or higher is dealt in the first five cards. Play begins when you place an initial bet, known as the Ante. Place a bet using one of the betting chips. To select a chip, click on the desired one with the left mouse button (the chip selected is indicated by the pointer).
|
You may need several chips to reach the desired bet amount – in this case a stack of chips can be formed on the betting spot. There are several ways to place a chip:
- Drag and drop the chosen chip onto the Ante betting spot.
- Click on the Ante betting spot. A chip of the selected value will be placed there.
- Click on the Repeat button to place a bet equal to your previous one. (Note: for your first bet, the Repeat control is disabled).
Placing AA bet
The AA bet is an additional/side bet and cannot be placed alone. Place an AA bet on the AA betting spot in one of the ways described above.
The AA bet is evaluated on the first hand of 5 cards only. If you have a pair of Aces or better combination, you win the AA side bet. The AA bet is paid according to the payout table, displayed on the left side of the table.
Note: You should call to collect any AA side bet winnings. If you don’t call, the AA bet is lost even if you have a valid hand.
The total bet value is displayed in a small square beside the chips placed. The Clear and Deal controls now become active.
The Betting limits are displayed in the top left hand frame of the game table. To view betting limits, refer to Casino Betting Limits.
Removing /Decreasing a bet
To remove a bet or decrease the bet amount, you need to remove the chip(s) placed. You may do this in several ways:
- Click and drag a chip from the table to the betting chips area.
- Select the ‘X’ chip and then click on the chip/stack of chips placed. The chips are removed one by one.
- Hold down CTRL and left click the chip/stack of chips placed. The chips will be removed one by one.
- Click on Clear to remove all the chips currently placed on the table.
Dealing
- Click on the Deal button to start dealing the cards. Once the button is clicked, two cards are dealt to you face up, two cards are dealt to the Dealer face down, and three flop cards are dealt on the table. Fold and Call controls now appear.
- After the cards have been dealt, your hand value is estimated. You and the dealer can both use community cards to complete a hand. If the hand contains a winning combination, its name is displayed to the left of the hand.
- Estimate your chances to win and decide whether to Call and continue playing against the dealer or Fold and lose all placed bets.
Fold Once the
Fold control is clicked, two last community cards are dealt, for a total of five. The Dealer’s cards are revealed. The hands formed are evaluated. The game round is over and you lose both the
Ante and
AA (if placed) bets.
Call To continue the game, click on the
Call button. In this case, one more bet is placed in the
Call betting spot, equal to double the
Ante. Two more community cards are dealt, for a total of five. The Dealer’s cards are revealed. The best paying hands are formed for you and the Dealer, using 5 out 7 available cards. The cards used to form a winning combination are indicated with arrows. The Dealer must have at least a pair of 4s to qualify.
Possible Game Outcomes
- If the Dealer’s hand does not qualify, you win; the Ante bet is paid out according to the payout table, and the Call bet is returned to you.
- If the Dealer’s hand qualifies, it is compared to your hand. If the Dealer’s hand is lower, you are paid out according to the Ante paytable and the Call bet pays 1:1. If the Dealer’s hand is higher, you lose both your Ante and your Call bets. Even if you lose against the Dealer, you still receive any AA winnings that you qualify for, paid out according to the AA paytable.
- When you and the dealer tie, the next highest card that is not part of the paying hand, known as the kicker, determines the winner.
